Day 1: Suryanelli
We meet at KDHP House at Munnar in the morning. From here we head a short up-hill to Lockheart Gap to the scenic view point called Bison Valley. On the bikes from here, you’ll enjoy the downhill all the way before turning in to reach your camp at Suryanelli atop a hill. Past Chinnakanal and you’re off the road and off your bike to click away with the colourful, all-smiles tea pickers of Munnar. Be sure to check out the stars and the amazing food at the camp. The camp can be cold at night – please carry any essentials such as sweaters and gloves.

Day 2: Vandenmedu
This morning after breakfast we start the cycling toward Vandanmedu. We will visit a famous temple; giving you an experience of the India you ought to know. The Cardamom Hills are famed as the spice center of the world, and today we cycle through the shadow of these hills. We ride around Anaerangal Lake (‘Lake where the elephants come down’) and along wonderful mountain roads have given these Cardamom Hills their name. Our lunch spot is atop a lonely hill from where we get to view the plains in the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu; in full glory. There within the lush of a magnificent hill station, fresh authentic food; you experience a gentle, renovating holiday dream. Before lunch we head for a small walk with your guide and learn from them about the many spice available in Kerala and why these hills are so famous all around the world known as the Cardamom Hills Reserve.

Day 3: Periyar
This morning, we start off early from Vandenmedu which is thick Cardamom growing area to bike on routes that border the Western Ghats and the Cardamom Hills Reserve. The area criss-crosses through verdant green country-side with view-points of the plains of the neighbouring state. The ride reminds us of the drastic changes in the topography with the Western Ghats as a separator and natural border. Arrive at Periyar / Thekkady and take in the rest of the day to experience the small town of Kumily. Our program ends here, your guide and driver will leave from here.
